A. Sites are available through Baskin-Robbins from $250,000.
Q. What is the minimum amount required for investment?
A. Minimum amount required is $50,000 in cash or $100,000 in equity.
Q. What are the ongoing costs and fees?
A. Fees include $35,000 (plus GST) Franchise Fee, $10,000 (plus GST) Training Fee and a $10,000 (plus GST) Legal Fee. Ongoing costs include 6% Royalty Fee and a 4% Advertising contribution paid via our Tub Price Model.
Q. Is Financing available?
A. Flexible financing options are available for approved candidates.
Q. Is prior experience in the Quick Service Restaurant industry required?
A. While industry experience is a benefit, it is not a requirement.
Q. What qualifications do you look for in a Franchise Partner?
A. Baskin-Robbins looks for people with drive and passion, including the following criteria:
– People Person: You absolutely must love being around people and interacting with the public.
– Team Player: Works well with others, get a kick out of sharing ideas and like contributing to
the overall success of Baskin-Robbins.
– Love of Ice Cream: You should be as enthusiastic about running a Baskin-Robbins as a six-
year-old child is about eating our ice cream! After all, building a successful franchise is fuelled
by an extraordinary amount of energy and enthusiasm.
Q. What training is provided?
A. Each new Franchise Partner is required to complete Baskin-Robbins’ intensive training program. We provide you with all the required tools and resources to support you on your path to success. Our operations are world class, fun and simple.
Q. How much can I make as a Franchise Partner?
A. The amount can vary depending on many factors, including location, competition, rent, managed vs owner-operated and financing. The amount you make is determined by you, it is your business to run!
Q. I own another Franchise; can I also purchase a Baskin-Robbins Franchise?
A. Yes, if it is not a conflict of interest.
Q. What are the stores’ operating hours?
A. Store hours vary by location however standard operating hours are 10 am to 10 pm daily.
Q. Can I own more than one site?
A. Absolutely. We have many Franchise Partners that own more than one store.
Q. Does the owner also need to work in the store?
A. No, although it is important that you are involved in all facets of your store/business.
Q. Can I choose the area or specific location for my store?
A. You are welcome to submit an area or specific location and our development team will discuss the
opportunity with you to ensure it is the right fit for both you and the brand.
